The Alchemist is one of my favorite books, making the redesign of its cover a more straightforward project. Going for a minimal design in comparison to its decorative usual cover, was a move I decided to take as I felt it fit the story better. Not only are the pyramids a main part of the story, but I also added the falling sand in order to represent the path of the character going to them. The choice of type was a fairly easy one, mirroring the geometric aspect of the pyramids, a sans serif was the way to go.
